Kamakura was a very laid back town full of really cute, quirky boutiques (and a Ghibli chara goods store!!). While we were there it looked like all of the junior high schools in Tokyo picked that day to go on a field trip; a whole bus-full of them waved at tonberry-tea and me while we were waiting for our ride home (!!!).

There were a few working up the courage to talk to white gaijins behind us (“We are junior high school students!”) and they were all super cute in sailorfuku and gakuran. :| だいじょうぶgaijinだから!!!
I really wish i worked up the courage to ask the students to pose for us tbqh (and i’m p sure they would have given how many times i saw them attempting to photobomb other people) but ah well, still pretty entertaining.

This must be the most beautiful DIY tutorial I have ever seen. And it so happens to be in style of this weekend. Found on Ulicam, a very nice blog by Ulrika Kestere, photographer and illustrator. For the whole tutorial and lot’s of inspiration, click here.

OH MY GOD.
